Mark your calendars now for the lesbian social event of the summer! On Friday, August 27th the Lesbian Information Xchange (LIX) will be hosting their sixth annual Proud Chicks Dance Party as part of the 2010 Ottawa-Gatineau Pride celebrations.
What could be better than a beautiful summer evening with 300 lesbians, a huge dance floor, twinkle lights, a dyke DJ spinning great tunes, and a sandy beach for strolling? This fabulous dance sells out every year so if you want to guarantee yourself admission, buy your tickets in advance!
Where: Ron Kolbus Centre, Lakeside Gardens
When: Doors open at 9:00 pm. and the dancing continues until 1:00 am.
Tickets: Tickets will be available at Venus Envy, After Stonewall and mother tongue books as of August 3rd. Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door.
