Hard Cover, a book club for men into men in Ottawa Ontario, meets the third Thursday of every month at Gay Zone Gaie (420 Cooper Street, just off Bank Street) at 6:00 PM, beginning Thursday January 19, 2012. As part of a partnership with After Stonewall Bookshop, Hard Cover book club members will receive a 10% discount off each month’s book.
The Lesbian Information Xchange (LIX) is a community-based, not-for-profit network of lesbians in the Ottawa area who get together for business networking, social, and educational events. LIX began with monthly coffee meetings in the fall of 2005 and quickly grew into an organization which today offers dinner/speaker meetings, a monthly LIX e-newsletter, the LIX web site, film nights for lesbians, and a Proud Chicks Dance Party during Ottawa-Gatineau's yearly Pride Week festivities. Members also march proudly under the Lesbian Information Xchange (LIX) banner during the Pride Parade each summer.
The Lesbian Outdoor Group (LOG) has a mission to enhance the quality of life for lesbians in the Ottawa Gatineau area. They provide a forum where members can meet, socialize and organize themselves for recreational and outdoor activities. Do you like to have fun? Be in the company of like-minded women? Participate in interesting activities? Well you have come to the right place. LOG provides a variety of fun and exciting activities that can be enjoyed by all.
The Senior Pride Network (Ottawa) is a group of service providers and community members who are working together to ensure that there is a robust, vibrant, respectful environment for older LGBT members of the greater Ottawa area.
The Ottawa Out Golfing Group (OOGG) is a friendly, recreational golf league for lesbian women, gay men, and bisexual and transgendered persons of all skills and abilities—beginner through to expert. The National-Capital-Region-based league plays golf weekdays and weekends at courses in and around Ottawa and Gatineau from mid-April through to the end of October.
We are a social group for lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, curious, allied, and alternative lifestyle transgendered and cisgendered women. We welcome all women regardless of age, lifestyle, marital status, ethnicity, etc – in short, we welcome women from all walks of life, and the more the merrier!
Women in the City (WiC) hosts a variety of events for Ottawa LGBT women including dinners, pool nights and speed dating. There WiC events about twice a month.
