Once upon a time, in a little town far, far away their lived a boy named CC. There he would daydream of a world beyond this little Northern town perched on the rocky hills – of places he had only imagined or seen in the movies… Eventually CC found himself venturing free and exploring parts of the broader world, encountering many interesting characters & places along the way; always with a sense of curiosity & wonder. If there was one thing CC took away with him from these adventures beyond the country – it was a deep appreciation for nature & home, and for all walks of life; as he understood that to hear the stories of ‘the good, the bad, & the ugly’ was an honour & gave him fuel to face his own journey moving forward.

The time has come for CC to return to the country for a spell; & hopefully give a little something back to the little town where it all began….

Please join CC & Company for a fun-filled night that will send him off to Manitoba in style. On Friday, July 20th CC will be found in Chinatown’s SHANGHAi RESTAURANT; dining, drinking and singing the night away! Hostess with the mostest CHiNA DOLL will be there along with many of the interesting characters CC has met along the way.

Message from CC: “I know everyone’s summer is quickly filling up & I am far too aware I won’t get the ‘quality time’ with so many here in Ottawa that I would like to before I head home. This karaoke night is the best possible solution; I want to see as many of you as possible come out and give your best THELMA HOUSTON, MADONNA, WHiTNEY, CELiNE – what have you. The point is to celebrate the good times and sing the night away! If you have something to say to me – sing it!! And don’t feel terrible if you can’t make it – many of you already have plans set in stone; regardless I will be there & ready to share the laughter, food and good times. I will also personally reward someone who gives a stand-out karaoke performance! Start thinking about your song choices folks! See you there! ”

8pm: Come by and join CC for drinks/apps/food

9pm: Expect a short (but effectively sweet) set of live acoustic music, CC style (w/ special guest Neil Smith on violin)

9:30-ish – 2am: Ready, steady – GO – time to karaoke till you just can’t no more!!!! Make your requests here!!!!!
