Are you interested in helping create the 2012 Ottawa Dyke March?

Part celebration and part protest, the annual grassroots Dyke March is committed to providing a welcoming and fun space for dykes, lesbians, queer and trans women, their families, friends, children and allies.

Continuing to be political - the Ottawa Dyke March is a move away from the commodification of gay, hetero-normative patriarchal culture. Through our families and our communities the Ottawa Dyke March states that we are here, we love who we love and we fuck who we fuck, and we will be present and fight for equality, both in our intimate spaces and on our streets.

We are in need of volunteers and more bodies on the organizing committee! Come join this open meeting to sign up and start talking about this summer's march.

We'll be needing foodies, stage managers and tech, marshals, set-up and take-down crew, artists and musicians, fundraising committees and all your thoughts and ideas.
